| Making your presentation interactive by means of specific tools & tips on how to best do this
There are many tools which allow for the active participation of trainees. These include the “buzz” technique; the use of photographs; mini presentations by the participants; tasks performed in small groups and then presented to the whole audience, etc.

The following video exemplifies how to use a set of coloured cards to actively engage each participant in the discussion. This technique is particularly helpful at the start of any session, as an ‘ice breaker’ and means that from the beginning you are indicating that the course will be run using the participants’own opinions.
