| Group discussions as a means to build on the participants’ expertise
There are many tools which allow for an active participation of trainees, such as the “buzz” technique, the use of photos, of mini presentation by the participants, tasks performed in small groups and then presented to the whole audience, etc.

The following video shows how to divide the audience in small groups (5-6 individuals each) in order to allow for active exchanges between the participants. The trainer then builds his presentation on the material developed by each group.
